Di was left almost heart broken when the next round of the competition was announced. After the sheer delight she had and the confidence boost at getting through the first round. Haute Couture.... she couldnt afford to commission a studio and no studio would associate with a sponsorship as she had killed so many creatives in the past. She was ready to withdraw but was stopped by Edward.

As a birthday treat Edward arranged for her to go to Paris. There she was met by a man who took her to a fashion house in the heart of the fashion promenade. She was fitted for a gown the designer and Edward had discussed prior to her arrival. It had to be Di... but he wanted people to know he chose it. The question marks were non negotiable.

The designer asked him about Di. What did she like what didnt she like... in the end it was decided it would be a mixture of leather, lace and brass, even reinventing her trade mark goggled and red arm band into the design. The result was a steam punk, elegant, yet fetish styled dress complete with stockings and boots. Di had never felt more spacial than when she put it on. They laced up the corset and she looked at herself. It was incredible...

Then the opening night of the show... she was one of the last to take to the runway. She was nervous as she watched the other contestants parade there lavish outfits. Edward tapped her on the shoulder with his cane. "To finish the outfit..." he smiled handing her the cane.

Di applied her make up much the same as usual... why did she have to be put beside Cici, who was wittering on about fingers and carrots... Di was not going to let her get to her even though she was tempted to take Edwards cane and break every bone in her body with it. She looked back to the mirror. She looked so... herself, yet different. Pretty even. Something she rarely thought herself to be.

Then it was time...

Of course she wasnt the only girl he was watching in the line up but he thought he ought to give her a fair shot, and it sorted out the problem of what to get her for her birthday. It also got her out of his hair so he could do whatever he wanted and did not have to spend her birthday keeping her company... worth every penny he thought.

Di walked down the catwalk confidently striking her pose at the end. She knew she owed Edward big time... of course he had planned that too...

A little disappointed I couldnt add more detail to this entry but unfortunately my internet is down at home so had to put what I had on a pen drive and head to my parents without adding more detailed colouring so I could upload it on time...
